Our Services
The Edgecombe Group, Inc. is an established and progressive multi-disciplinary design firm that successfully integrates outstanding technical ability within architectural, landscape architectural, urban design, urban planning and historic preservation projects. Since 1992, Our name has been synonymous with design excellence and dependability. Our staff has worked with private developers and government agencies to help address the challenges of economic revitalization, infill development, and sustainable design in order to accommodate the growing needs in urban cities.
Our Philosophy
Our primary focus begins with assisting public sector agencies, not-for-profit community development corporations and foundations, and private real estate developers to effectively plan to accommodate growth in an environmentally sustainable manner. We have assisted in urban development projects throughout all stages of project development including: analyzing zoning issues, planning commission interaction and public hearings, facilitating neighborhood design workshops, and fostering community visioning and support.
Our Mission
We strive to recognize and work with the unique characteristics inherent to each site, both enhancing and protecting the natural features of the land. We give a great deal of attention to project visioning, conceptual design, and image creation which is paramount to the success of a project. Finally, we see our vision materialize to completion through the construction observation process. Our unique approach to the construction process allows our designers to work closely with the client and contractor to ensure that the final product meets the integrity of our initial vision.
